SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME

Let me start with the words of our father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. He said “By education I mean, an all round development of the best in the man and child – body, mind and spirit.”
          
      The curriculum of our B.Ed. education has given a chance to understand and to be a part in the formation of a child in the school. It is named as ‘Initiatory School Experience.’ For this we, two student teachers Devika v and Reshma Raichal Mani from Sabarigiri college of education Anchal have selected Sabarigiri HSS Ancha. The Initiatory School Experience was scheduled from December 5 to December 9 2022.First two days are arranged in a way to acquaint with the school environment and day to day functions and last two days are given to engage classes and interact with students. Initiatory School Experience in our B.Ed. curriculum will provide us the basic awareness of educational environment.

One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.              COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers.
