INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY

Every year, International Mother Language Day is celebrated on 21 February. Read on to know its history, significance, and theme. Every year on February 21, people around the world celebrate International Mother Language Day to encourage linguistic and cultural diversity as well as multilingualism.
      Our college NSs Union has conducted a programme based on the inetrnational mother language day to enrich the importance to save mother language. The programmes presidential address was given by our principal Dr.Meera Raj mam.Welcome speech was delivered by farther Thomas kuttiyil.Programme started with a welcome dance by the college dance group.Then there is also a group song by teacher trainees.The union also organised SA writing competition and recitation on the topic international mother language day.The programme was literally a remembrance of International Mother Language Day.

Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.  National Service Scheme (NSS) is a government-supported program that aims to develop the personality and character of students through community service. One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.              COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers.
