MEHENDI COMPETITION

Mehendi and Indian girls have an unbreakable bond. There’s something about henna adorned hands that adds a special charm to any ethnic dress.

Whether it’s a wedding or a sangeet function, Mehendi is what enhances the festive mood. Your makeup might be super elaborate, your outfit might be trendy, and your hairstyle with natural hair colours might be glamorous, but without Mehendi on your hands, the look will feel complete.We sabarigiri college of education as part of our NSS unit conduct a mehendi competition in our general hall.The programme was inaugurated by respected principal Dr Meera raj maam.Total 10 groups participated in the mehendi competition.Arts sir was the judge of the competition.Pinky and Devika from natural science got first prize,Alin and Gatha from maths share the second prize.Third prize was shared by three groups.All performed well and it was a beautiful programme.

One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.              COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers.
