Hiroshima day Rememberanace

Hiroshima Day is marked annually on 6th August to raise awareness of the tragic consequences of atomic bomb blasts and to advance peace politics. On this date in 1945, the US launched an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima during World War II. The massive nuclear explosion left thousands dead and 90% of the city destroyed.We sabarigiri college celebrated hiroshima day on 10th August on our college general hall.Junior students prepared sadako cranes and hanged in general hall.Jaseena miss and Shamla miss were the chief guest of the function.Father Thomas kuttiyil delivered a speech and we all lighted the candles for memorising the persons died in the attack.

One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.              COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers.
