FRESHER'S DAY

Freshers day is the start of the new journey of your life. It is an informal introduction to the seniors, members of faculty, collagenous and the institutions as well. This is usually celebrated in university and college to welcome the new branch of students.
We second year BEd students on sabarigiri college of education conducted a freshers day event for our junior students.The name given to the programme was ECSTACY conducted by ahava.The programme started at 11.00 with prayer song.The programme was inaugurated by Sreedevi miss.Then the session begins with varities of tasks programs .The theme given to them was dress up like 90s model.All the juniors dressed up so well and their costumes memorizes old college days.They performed all the tasks very well. All the sessions was very interesting and entertaining 
The morning session was colorful with different tasks given to them.Then all went for lunch break and the programme ends at 3.30.

One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.              COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers.
