MICROTEACHING CLASS

Microteaching is a teacher training technique for learning teaching skills. It employs real teaching situation for developing skills and helps to get deeper knowledge regarding the art of teaching.
Microteaching sessions are conducted as part of two BEd curriculum as a curriculum activity to practice and enhance our teaching skills on 28 and 29 March 2023.
On 28 March 2023 , Skill of demonstration was taught by Neethu and Navami.Skill of stimulus variation was done by Pinky.Skill of explaining was taught by Reshma and Anjitha.Skill of illustrating with examples was done by Greeshma and Ameena.Skill of blackboard writing was taught by Reshma and Anjitha.Skill of reinforcement was taught by Ameena and Navami.I taught the skill of promoting pupils participation with peers as student.
On 29 March 2023 Skill of introducing a lesson was taught by Neethu and Greeshma.skill of stimulus variation and skill of probing question was done by Shilpa.Skill of probing question was taught by Pinky.I taught the skill of fluency in questioning.
Classess are video recorded and peer observers and supervising teacher evaluated the class sessions by direct observation and with evaluation sheets.

Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.  National Service Scheme (NSS) is a government-supported program that aims to develop the personality and character of students through community service. One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.              COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers. COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP DAY 4 The day four of our camp starts with the coffee given by the food committee of that day. The day four was named as ദളങ്ങൾ  After the fresh up and breakfast the camp started with the morning assembly. The previous fay report and newses are presented by the previous day programme committe. After the assembly there was a arts and craft workshop was conducted as a part of the camp. Teascher engaged us with some craft activity in making flowers. It develops our creative skill as well as aesthetic skills. The class ended at 12:30. After the lunch we had a class by Dr Jayakumar sir " അമ്മ മാധുര്യം ".  During the session Devika give the welcome speech and Father Thomas kuttiyil give the welcome speech. After the session we made discussion on SNEHARAMAM For the next day. We had cultural programs at night. The day ended and light off at 10 pm.
