FIELD TRIP TO KANYAKUMARI

A field trip or excursion is a journey by a group of people to a place away from their normal environment.
On 26th July 2023 we,second sem BEd students in sabarigiri college scheduled a field trip to kanyakumari. After the proper planning and preparation we decided to contact our filtrip on 26 July, Gopika miss as the teacher in charge.We started our trip at sharp 5.25am from the college with prayed conducted by Father Abu. We had our breakfast from irani hotel,Neyyattinkara at  7.30am.Then we reached Thirparappu water falls at 9.30 and enjoyed the beauty of nature for some time.Then we reached thakkala Palace at 11.45 and enjoyed the beauty of the palace for some time.Some guides explained us the historical importance of the architectural works.We left the Palace by 1.00pm and started our journey to kanyakumari.We had our lunch at 2.30 from traveling restaurant kanyakumari and went to Vivekananda rock at 3.15 pm.It was a great experience and we take enough pictures from vivekannda rock.We had our tea from triveni restaurant at 5.30 .Then we went to a tourist spot for viewing sunset and shopping.we spent around one hour for shopping.After 7.30 we left kanyakumari.We had our dinner at 10.30pm from irani Hotel and reached college by 1.00am. The field trip provide us with most memorable memories.

A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.              COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers. The welcome speech was delivered by our Principal Meera raj ma'am. The seven day camp was inagurated by Dr Jayakumar sir.
