KERALA PIRAVI CELEBRATION

 Kerala Day is celebrated on November 1 to commemorate the foundation of the state of Kerala. It is also known as Kerala Piravi after the Malayalam word “piravi” which means birth. Kerala Piravi therefore literally means the birth of Kerala. This day is observed to mark the date on which Malayalam-speaking regions were unified into one state.The first year BEd students in sabarigiri college of education conducted a program on kerala piravi on 1st November 2023 on college auditorium.We the second year students and all teachers are invited to the function.The programme started in 11.00am.The main attraction of the function was the interesting game series conducted by first year students.There was also a group song arranged by first year students.Allbthe teacher trainess wore traditional dresses.The programme wind up at 1.30

Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.  National Service Scheme (NSS) is a government-supported program that aims to develop the personality and character of students through community service. One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.         FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023 The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല  A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers.
