TEACHING PRACTICE FIRST PHASE WEEK 4
TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4-MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY (09/10/2023 to11/10/2023)
The fourth week of our teaching practice went so good and effective. The week from 09/10/2023 to 11/10/2023
 As usual I reached the school at 9:25 a.m. The first period I have no classes the duty assigned during this period is to give substitution to all my other teacher trainees.  2nd period I have substitution for standard 9 B which is my concerned class I teach them the topic "Expulsion of carbon dioxide" from the unit breathing for energy from the Biology text,here I teach them how the biproduct of cellular respiration carbon dioxide is expelled out by expiration.The fourth period I have substitution for standard 8C which is also my concerned class there I teach them the topic "indigenous varieties and its advantage" from the units let's regain our fields here I teaches them the difference between indigenous varieties and hybrid varieties of plants and animals,the fifth period I have substitution for 7B and the 6th period I have subscription for class 8C which is my concerned class this period I checked the note of the all the students and give suggestions and Feedback the 8 period I have class for standard 9 B. The overall experience of the school was good.
On second day as usual I reached the school at 9:20 a.m. marked the attendance after the prayer for the first period I have a class for 10B  class for taking the attendance. the second and third period I have no classes.The corresponding fourth and 5th period I have class on my concerned class 9B i teach them the topic "types of fermentation". Types of fermentation and its processs is described using learning aids and giviing real life examples.After the lunch break I have class for 8C. The 7th period I have substitution for class 8A and the 8th period I have substitution for class 8D.The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m. with national anthem
 On the third day I reached the school at 9:20 a.m. marked the attendance after the prayer first period I have no class the second period I have substitution for 6c.There I gave the maths problems first after completing the problem I give engage them with memory game all are actively participated in the section.tThe third period I have substitution for 9Bwhich is my concerned class I teach them the topic "respiratory disorders in man." All the students actively participated in the teaching learning process I teach them the topic with ICT slides. The 5th period I have class for 7C.Preparations are going on for the work experience and school kalolsavam which are held in the last of this month.the school dispersed at 3:30 p.m.
 For the exams of 2nd semester we the teacher trainees are call back by the college.
CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In this week the students of 8th standard and 9th standard students were taught using of teaching manual from their 3rd chapter let's regain our field from basic science .The students of 9th standard the third chapter "Breathing for energy "were taught using teaching manual of their third unit from part one of their biology text.Teaching aids such as charts, activity cards were used for both classes appropriately based on the topic taught. 
The reflective journals were also done this week.
OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
     The students of 8th and 9th standard were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. For the 9 standard I taught them three topics from the unit breathing for energy. They are expulsion of carbon dioxide, types of fermentation and respiratory disorders in man. All the topics are taught using different learning aids. The topic expulsion of carbon dioxide I teach them how the major by product of respiration the carbon dioxide is eliminated from the cells. For that I used the indicators the role of tissue Fluids, transportation of carbon dioxide and the components of blood and the expulsion of carbon dioxide from the lungs. In types of fermentation I teach them how organisms survey even in the absence of oxygen. There I take them the two types of fermentation the lactic fermentation and alcohol fermentation. And the examples of each fermentation in real life situations. In respiratory disorders I taught the disorders like lungcancer emphysema and Bronchitis its symptoms and how we can overcome this diseases. The topic indigenous varieties from the 8th standard I teach them the difference between indigenous varieties and the hybrid varieties and there eand their examples. All the students actively participated in the teaching learning process. Different varieties of activities are given to the students. learners actively engaged in the group discussion. The overall experience of the classroom experience was very good.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
 All the weeks school conducted extra curricular activities too. This week preparations for the work experience was going on a group of a student or actively engaged in making chalks. Also preparations for the kalolsavam are going on. Practices for different programs such as thiruvathira margamkali group dance are going on.
