             COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP

The community living camp is learning to live together, sharing duties and responsibilities. Developing personal and social skills. Practising democratic living and managing events. Practising division of labour, dignity of labour, community work.  
     
FIRST DAY 14 DECEMBER THURSDAY 2023

The first day of community living camp was started at 8:00am.The day was named as ജ്വാല A well organised NSS volunteers are selected for the registration section. All the voluteers are registered and gathered at the genera hall by 9:30am. The official inauguration ceremony was started sharp at 9:30am. The programme started by NSS Song by all of the volunteers. The welcome speech was delivered by our Principal Meera raj ma'am. The seven day camp was inagurated by Dr Jayakumar sir. Prathibha ma'am given the Nutshell of the programmes activities of the camp in coming days. Vignesh given the vote of thanks.

The first programme and the appropriate programme for the NSS Camp was conducted by Brahmanayakam mahadevan sir. The experience of the class was beyond words. All are enjoyed and fall in the exact path of the camp. The camp ended at 12:30pm. After lunch we had a awareness class on HAPPY PARENTING by Saleena ma'am. The class was about how to become a best parent, how a child's emotions feelings intensions perceptions can be correctly understanded and put them in a correct path. The class ends at 4:30pm.
After tea break and a small freshenup. A vibarant enthusiastic folk song program by Biju malanada was arranged by the camp officials. The program was mindblowing and entertaining. After the programme a Christmas carol was also conducted by the NSS Volunteers. The first day of the camp given an very good experience. The lights putt of by 10:30pm waiting for the next dayy.........

One of the key activities of the NSS is the annual NSS camp, which brings students participate in community development activities.        As our BEd college is the first BEd college started NSS unit under Kerala university. A seven day camp along with five days community camp was decided to conduct from 14 December to20 December. The camp aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage in community service and social activities, while also promoting their personal and social development.
