WEEK 5 : MONDAY 08/07/2024 TO FRIDAY 12/07/2024

                       INTRODUCTION
This week the teaching practice was from 08/07/2024 to 12/07/2024

08/07/2024
MONDAY
As usual reached the school at 9:15 a.m. After the prayer I help chemistry ma'am to check the papers and arrange them.The third period I have substitution for class 9 b which is my concerned class where I taken the topic exchange of substance through osmosis from the unit to life process. The fourth period I have got substitution for 5A where  I engaged  the students in memory game first time during this phase I am going to this class, students like me.After the lunch break I got an substitution for 8C during the sixth period which is my concerned classtaught them the topic peculiarities of stem cells and its importance .During the last period also I got substitution for 8C where I taught them cytoplasm and protoplasm as a whole class remedial teaching of diagonalistic test.The school dispersed at 3.30 pm

TUESDAY 
This day I was absent and didn't complete any lesson template.

WEDNESDAY 
As usual reached  the school  at 9:15 a.m. After the prayer teacher distributed the substitution. The second period I have got a substitution for 8 C class which is my concerned class where I teach them the topic different types of animals tissues students activity take interest in the learning process though it was an ICT enabled lesson plan. The 4th period also I have substitution for 8 C which is my concerned class I taught them the topic meristematic tissue and mature plants cellThe school dispersed at 3.30 pm.

THURSDAY
As usual reached the school at 9:15 a.m. After the prayer teacher gave us substitution list.The third period I have got a substitution for 8th C class which is my concerned class where I thought them the topic different types of plant tissues students activity participated in the classroom interaction procedure ICT enabled slides are used as learning aids. The fourth period also I have class for 8 C where I given them the group remedial teaching on the topic PLASTIDS.

FRIDAY
Today as usual reached the school at 9:15 a.m. this day I got substitution for 8C during the second period which is the music period this period I taught them the topic types of vascular tissues- peculiarities and functions from the unit cell clusters. Students actively participated in the classroom interaction procedure.A Video based on the topic is also played during the class period about the conduction of materials through the xylem and phloem vessels. The fifth period also I have got a substitution for 8C which is my concerned  class where I taught them the topic organs and organ system formation in human bodyThe overall experience was good and the topic taught effectively.The school dispersed at 3.30 pm.

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

In this week the students of 8th standard were taught using of teaching manual from their first chapter from part 1 of their basic science textbook namely CELL CLUSTERS 8th standard students were taught.
1.PECULARITIES OF STEM CELLS IT'S IMPORTANCE 
2.DIFFERENT TYPES OF ANIMAL TISSUES.
3.MERISTEMATIC CELL AND MATURE PLANT CELL.
4.DIFFERENT TYPES OF PLANT TISSUES
5.TYPES OF VASCULAR TISSUES- PECULIARITIES AND FUNCTION.
6.ORGANS AND ORGAN SYSTEMS IN HUMAN BODY.
In this week the students of 9th standard where taught using of teaching manual from their Biology textbook from the first unit TO LIFE PROCESS . The 9th standard students where taught
1. EXCHANGE OF SUBSTANCE THROUGH OSMOSIS 

Teaching aids such as charts, activity cards,ICT were used appropriately based on the topic taught.
The reflective journals were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

Students of 8th and 9th standard were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. Six teaching manual of 8th standard and one teaching manual of 9th standard were completed effectively. Learning aids such charts, ICT slides, cut outs video presentations are prepared as per the need of topic. Students were given followup activities like assignment and short note in science diary ,activities of group discussion. Students are actively participated in the classroom interaction procedure, intellectual curiosity of the children are aroused. Prerequisites were correctly checked. Create a good rappot with the students and accommodate all levels of learners in my class.Aravind sir physical education observation also held on this week.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITY 

This week there was no extracurricular activities held
