INTRODUCTION

This week the teaching practice was from 15/07/2024 to 19/07/2024

15/07/2024

Monday

As usual reached the school at 9:15 a.m. After signing the attendance we have prayer. After the prayer the teacher distributes the substitution to all .This day I got substitution for 9B only during the second period which is my concerned class. During this period I just make a revision of the first unit to life process. From the third period onwards we have a assigned a duty to set up a new library for the school which was planned to inaugurate on Wednesday. Me and my colleague trainees help the library teacher to set up a new library for the school.The fifth period I have got an substitution for class 8C where I gave them individual remedial teaching on parts and functions of nucleus.Also a volleyball selection was conducted on the school by the physical education teacher charley sir. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m.

Today was holiday because of muhram public holiday.

Wednesday

As usual reached the school at 9:15 a.m. After the prayer the teacher distributed the substitution list. This day the new library was inaugurated by the school manager. All the major dignitaries related to school management are presented in the function. Selection of Kabaddi was also conducted.A good FM radio 📻 was inaugurated this week among students.During 4th period I have class for 8 C which is my concerned class where I take them the topic Tissues involved in the organs of human body This day I have got a substitution for 8C on 6th period where I teach them the topic levels of organisation.The function of library inauguration was on 2.30PM.The school dispersed at 4.00pm.

Thursday

As tuition raise to the school at 9:15 a.m. after the prayer small program was conducted to enhance the reading habits of newspaper among children was conducted under the guidance of the members of Deepika news paper.The second period and third period conducted yoga and health lesson plan classes for 8C class.The sixth period conducted ACHIEVEMENT TEST. for class 8c.After the lunch break there conducted PTA meeting for class 10.The school dispersed at 3. 30pm.

Friday

As usual reached the school at 9.15 am.Today was our last day of teaching practice of second phase.We successfully completed our last phase of teaching practice in AMMHS Karavaloor.In this day we decided to sponsered food for the noon meal.We arranged fried rice and chicken for the students.The third period me Vignesh and keerthana given a small token of our gratitude for the 8th C students with some sweets.We spend some time with them.We helped in the kitchen for the preparation of meal.Innovative class using innovative work also done in this day.Today the school conducted a motivation come awareness class for the students against child abuse and also problems facing by the students between 10 to 17.The programme was conducted by Trinity institute.After lunch break there was PTA Meeting was conducted for the students between 5 to 9th standard.The school dispersed at 3.30pm.

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

In this week the students of 8th standard were taught using of teaching manual from their second chapter from part 1 of their basic science textbook namely CELL CLUSTERS 8th standard students were taught.

1.Tissues involved in organs of human body.

2.Levels of organisation.

Teaching aids such as charts, activity cards,ICT were used appropriately based on the topic taught.

The reflective journals were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

Students of 8th was given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience.Two teaching manual of 8th standard was completed effectively. Learning aids such charts, ICT slides, cut outs video presentations are prepared as per the need of topic. Students were given followup activities like assignment and short note in science diary ,activities of group discussion. Students are actively participated in the classroom interaction procedure, intellectual curiosity of the children are aroused. Prerequisites were correctly checked. Create a good rappot with the students and accommodate all levels of learners in my class.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITY

This week a lot of extra curricular activities are held.Selection for volleyball,kabbadi was held.PTA Meetings for class1 to 10 were held.A motivation come awareness class was held.A good Library was inaugurated during this week.FM radio among students was inaugurated this week.
